disturbed Posted July 7, 2007 CID Share Posted July 7, 2007 what do you consider online gaming ? ...multiplayer battlefield 2 ? counter strike ? or like flash based games and online solitaire
dlewis23 Posted July 7, 2007 CID Share Posted July 7, 2007 There isn't much that can be saved in that computer for a upgrade. Just about everything will have to be new. You can do a real nice computer for 500-

Swimmer Posted July 7, 2007 CID Share Posted July 7, 2007 So like WoW? That computer is not going to be able to do much as far as upgrading goes.. It is about 2 generations behind where we currently are and the parts are just not as available anymore. Like most people have said.. you can get a decent build going for around $600-$1000 that would be completely custom. Or you can buy a prebuilt, like Dell or HP, and then customize off of that base. Either way you are going to have to upgrade your core components if you want to have a "gaming" pc.

starship_troopers Posted July 8, 2007 CID Share Posted July 8, 2007 i'd build one, but if you don't know how, i might look into building one from companies like dell, hp, etc.

starship_troopers Posted July 8, 2007 CID Share Posted July 8, 2007 if you want to build a custom pc, just name some brands, a price range, etc. and we can help find decent parts to build one

resopalrabotnick Posted July 9, 2007 CID Share Posted July 9, 2007 my $.02 don't upgrade. buy a complete mew rig and keep the old one as a spare. if you upgrade you will mix old parts with new and end up with leftover parts noone will buy for what they are worth.
