C-Money17 Posted July 9, 2007 CID Share Posted July 9, 2007 I have Wildblue satellite internet service, and recently, my modem has been reseting at least one or more times a day. Just as I'm typing this post, it reset again. Every time this happens, a little message pops up and says "a network cable is unplugged" when, clearly, everything is hooked up right. I don't understand it. I've tried unplugging the cables and plugging them back in to manually reset the modem and get it to go through the registering process. While that does work, it still doesn't stop the random reseting that I have to put up with. Even worse, sometimes the modem will take hours to go through the registering process, with the second light from the top blinking only once every five seconds or so. Does anyone else have this kind of problem with Wildblue modems?
mudmanc4 Posted July 9, 2007 CID Share Posted July 9, 2007 Man I wish I could help out, Just no experience w/ wild blue, hang around and I'm sure someone will have an idea soon. Seems like I recall a recent thread just as your issue , search around a bit , and you may find your solution.
troubles Posted November 2, 2007 CID Share Posted November 2, 2007 If you havern't fixed the problem yet and still having this problem, call WB at 866-wildblue and tell them it keeps resetting itself. You most likely need a new modem and they can ship one to you in about two weeks.
