dlewis23 Posted August 1, 2007 CID Share Posted August 1, 2007 get the 32C3030D much higher contrast ratio = much better black levels. basically means black wont be a dark purple. It will be almost black.

Swimmer Posted August 2, 2007 CID Share Posted August 2, 2007 I would say look at the picture if you can.. The contrast ratio is a hard measurement to go by.. Just like in LCD specs, the measurement is based on what and how the manufacturer defines it. It is a lot like the power rankings in the power supply industry. Just like in LCD specs, the measurement is based on what and how the manufacturer defines it. It is a lot like the power rankings in the power supply industry. the contast ratio is the best number to go by in that size. it is going to define if your picture will look good or bad. brightness also makes a big difference. thanks swimmer so if u would go for a lcd 32inch under 900 bucks what would you go for ?
