coolbuster2007 Posted February 24, 2008 CID Share Posted February 24, 2008 Do you want to create your own personal cleaner for temporary internet files, cookies, browsing history, filled forms and passwords? Here are some easy steps to do that: 1) Right click on your desktop. 2) Create a shortcut: Under New, click Shortcut. 3) Copy/Paste or type as it is the following in the 'Type the location of the item:' box. RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 255 4) Create a name for your personal cleaner, for example 'My Cleaner'. 5) Click 'Finish'. You can now clean browsing tracks and internet-related inputs without using a software. At your prerogative, you can change the shortcut icon. Dude111 Posted July 26, 2008 CID Share Posted July 26, 2008 I just tried it on an XP computer and it just basically uses "DISK CLEANUP" w/o going to the app itself.. (Nothing special about this) At least thats what it looked like came up and said it was cleaning this,that,etc.......... What if you didnt have "Disk cleanup.exe" on your computer what would happen then?? (Maybe thats why i got the error on my computer. (I deleted that app long ago))
mudmanc4 Posted July 26, 2008 CID Share Posted July 26, 2008 Just for the record, 98 was good, for the times coming from what you might call the computer dark ages, windows 98 effected millions in a positive way, and gave MS there big boost in home ownership of personal computing.
