tommie gorman Posted July 3, 2008 CID Share Posted July 3, 2008 Are you behind a router? Maybe a restore point to the day before. Did you D/L something different in the last 24 hours?
mutate Posted July 3, 2008 Author CID Share Posted July 3, 2008 I'm not on a router, and I am quite positive that I did not download anything in the past 24 hours. I'll give the restore point a try...

tommie gorman Posted July 4, 2008 CID Share Posted July 4, 2008 My mistake, how far did you go back? I'd try a week if you didn't. One day sometimes does not catch it.

Shut everything down, unplug the router for an hour or so, then first start the modem, let it alone for 15-20 minutes, and restart your computer. Post your speed results. DSL can be strange like that.

mudmanc4 Posted July 4, 2008 CID Share Posted July 4, 2008 I would say yea, callem up. Let us know what they do. Besides resetting your modem, and making sure that bridging in on, and testing the line.
mutate Posted July 4, 2008 Author CID Share Posted July 4, 2008 So you haven't called them yet? Yeah, I'd try that one. Oh I had called them yesterday... and I'm suppose to be expecting a call within the next 24 hours, not sure if thats gonna happen since its been almost 20 hours I would say yea, callem up. Let us know what they do. Besides resetting your modem, and making sure that bridging in on, and testing the line. They did say they were upgrading their "email service/software protection" I assume this is whats causing the lag?
