Ryan314 Posted September 9, 2008 CID Share Posted September 9, 2008 I was recently walking in the rain and my phone got a layer of water on it and now I'm receiving that dreadful airplane mode popup. I was just curious as to where the water censor was in the iphone? I heard it was at the bottom of the headphone jack but that looks white to me, what should I do?! dlewis23 Posted September 9, 2008 CID Share Posted September 9, 2008 Turn it off, and leave it off for as long as you can. There is probably some water in it still and you need to let it dry completely.

Siryak Posted September 11, 2008 CID Share Posted September 11, 2008 I saw a video where someone dunked it in fruit loops and then washed it off in the sink and it still worked. So I think it is pretty much waterproof.
