TheArtworkGuy Posted April 5, 2009 CID Share Posted April 5, 2009 anyone else have an issue with vista 64 home premium not recognizing when the headphones are plugged in? the headphones are fully functional since they work on everything else, and the jack was O.K. until i installed vista. It just says that there's nothing plugged in the headphone slot. I even tried every other jack just in case with no luck.
coknuck Posted April 5, 2009 CID Share Posted April 5, 2009 Have you tried to right click the sound icon and then playback devices next right click the vacant area and click what you need to make them appear. And set the headphones as default. Good luck!
Grambler Posted April 5, 2009 CID Share Posted April 5, 2009 Sounds like probable driver issue. Check for a driver update from sound card manufacturer or microsoft.
