mudmanc4 Posted April 10, 2009 CID Share Posted April 10, 2009 i already have linux installed. Its a good OS, i just wish all the .exe files would work easily. I did a system restore back to about a month ago, and still the same problem. When i go to "network connections" there is nothing there. there should be something there. Uninstall the hardware in device manager , and then restart, you'll be prompted that the system has found new hardware, install it.

starship_troopers Posted April 10, 2009 CID Share Posted April 10, 2009 did you try checking to see if it recognized in the bios, or even if the cable was securely on?
JH2688 Posted April 10, 2009 Author CID Share Posted April 10, 2009 I got my cd drive working. All i did was switched cables. I went back to my old cable. Everything seems to be working just fine now.
