have an netgear wgps606 wireless print server

had it working on windows vista as

ipp://IP_192.168.100.40P1 ( uses P1 as the usb port printer is connected to)

I need to know how to set it up on ubuntu 9.10 netbook remix

Dunno much about print servers myself, I just configure them as another device on the network so all machines can access them. If I have a USB printer, I'll connect it to a local machine / server and share it, then configure it on each machine. Sorry i cannot be of more help Jeff, but it's good to hear from you.

Still undergoing Chemo ( non-hodgens lympthoma -- 1991-Current ) and very sick - Again

I fell again and now have a Broken Hip- 4 pins in the left side now - Nov 2009

and 3 in the right side back in June 09  

and darn does it hurt

200 mg of morphine pills 2 times a day

and 20mg of liquid morphine 4 times a day

helps somewhat - but hurt

Anyhow, you can sudo the CUPS file if thats what your looking for. I know you have a print server, but the IP should be seen in your router, no ?

was recommended ,, but I  don't know how to set up cups printing

for this type of printing

second if you connect directly to the comoputer can u print using linux?
