fikester Posted February 26, 2005 CID Share Posted February 26, 2005 Would the price of an interpretor be tax deductible? Its almost 100% guaranteed when you call for help you will get a very hard to understand, English speaking tech. They should put those techs on the sales line so people would see upfront whats around the corner lurking. My brother charges me $25/ hour to call tech support for me! [glow=green,2,300]currently at $250 expense [/glow]
s25843 Posted February 27, 2005 CID Share Posted February 27, 2005 I can remember when they had their call centers in Fort Lauderdale. Not that they knew much, but atleast you could understand them. Hence one of the reasons I cancelled D-Way a year ago after my contract was up, and went with Comcast. (Although, I kept the dish up, since it gets me a perfect 100% DirecTV signal)
JoeOtto Posted March 1, 2005 CID Share Posted March 1, 2005 If you start going to Indian restaurants, maybe you can start to understand what the hell they are saying. I wonder if they get tired of us saying "I'm sorry, I couln't understand you. Can you repeat that?"

fikester Posted March 2, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 2, 2005 Myself I think they should air commercials with that spoken language on local network channels....there would no longer be an over subscribed bandwidth problem. "very good speeds",
