rez1sog Posted September 7, 2011 CID Share Posted September 7, 2011 Hello - currently we are running the AUTO Speed test every 15 minutes. I am looking for some clarification. 1. When does this test stop/timeout 2. Is there a way to have it run until we manually STOP the test Thanks!
CA3LE Posted September 7, 2011 CID Share Posted September 7, 2011 Hello - currently we are running the AUTO Speed test every 15 minutes. I am looking for some clarification. 1. When does this test stop/timeout 2. Is there a way to have it run until we manually STOP the test Thanks! Hey rez1sog... seen your screen name allot. Welcome! It stops after 10 cycles, so on a 15 minute interval the test is exhausted in 2 1/2 hours. I'll be adding more features to that section soon. You'll be able to control that aspect in the next version. For now, you can increase the interval to get more time out of it. -- I had to put some kind of limit on the auto test once I opened up testing below 30 minute intervals. If someone is on a 5 minute timer then forgets about it... there goes a bunch of my bandwidth. The cycle system I put in place eliminates that worry... but as you can see, it can also limit the functionality of the tool. So, I will revisit that soon. I hope this answers your question. Thank you for your patronage. - Damon
