sidmontero Posted September 15, 2014 CID Share Posted September 15, 2014 On my speed test results there are grey numbers after the blue numbers under the Download speed numbers. What do these numbers represent?
mudmanc4 Posted September 15, 2014 CID Share Posted September 15, 2014 Hi sidmontero, The grey numbers represent the same speed as shown in the blue (download) or orange (upload) yet simply in a different readable format. Which you can research the meanings at the following link and convert results to better understand what each represent.
Pgoodwin1 Posted September 15, 2014 CID Share Posted September 15, 2014 After the large number is Mbps (mega bits per second, which is million bits per second). The next number is the number of 8-bit bytes so it's the Mbps divided by 8, and it's shown in MB/s which means mega bytes per second. A byte is an 8-bit digital word made of of 8 bits. At least that's what I think you were asking about.
