rebrecs Posted October 12, 2019 CID Share Posted October 12, 2019 Hi all. Sometimes you just have to have more cowbell ! I can't explain it. I'm on the edge of the Houston metropolitan area. Mostly farms a few years ago. Civilization is doing what it does; ever expanding outward. That means, (you guessed it) Pizza delivery and internet ! I have all the same grief everyone else does. My ISP has given me more than enough reasons to keep an eye on them. Additionally, I am doing research into hosting my own domain. By way of introduction, that is me in a nutshell. I'm looking forward to hearing about what others are experiencing. The testing App? So far so good, though it is certainly not the "good news" app. (ha ha) Sincerely, --Rebrecs mudmanc4
localpeon1 Posted October 31, 2019 CID Share Posted October 31, 2019 Hi rebrecs, Welcome aboard. We use to live on North side of Houston, but it got to crowed. We retired and moved to the Hill Country where life is good, quiet, no trains, semis, few airplanes, little to no car traffic. I love it. Can't say we like the satellite speeds and reliant on and off. But if that is all we had to give up, the last 20 years are worth it. localpeon1 CA3LE

Pgoodwin1 Posted December 30, 2019 CID Share Posted December 30, 2019 Pretty fas plan. Mine’s 200/10. So I don’t have any experience with speeds that high. Your test results are erratic but not terrible. Are you testing via wireless?
