davepet Posted March 6, 2020 CID Share Posted March 6, 2020 My Spectrum internet sometimes gets flaky. Upload speed goes to ZERO during speed tests. When my wifi loses the internet (connected at cable modem LAN port 1) I can't get wifi internet back unless I power cycle both the modem and router. Help! Pgoodwin1 Posted March 6, 2020 CID Share Posted March 6, 2020 That sounds like something that Spectrum should be able to help you with. Call them - be patient, but be persistent and call back if they can’t find anything on the first call with them.
coknuck Posted March 7, 2020 CID Share Posted March 7, 2020 Had the same problem, it turned out to be to much noise (noise levels were to high) in the line. They need to get the maintenance crew involved. If you have phone, I bet you loose it all the time!
Guest_12345 Posted March 8, 2020 CID Share Posted March 8, 2020 Did you try ipconfig /release & then ipconfig /renew ? In the Command window. This can save having to power cycle the modem. At least sometimes. I agree with the other two answers to get a more permanent fix. Howdy coknuck cholla here .

Guest_12345 Posted April 23, 2020 CID Share Posted April 23, 2020 coknuck I'm fine as ever. Hope you are too. I guess my ban has been lifted. So I edited this post. So you know . I still have The Seven Faces of Doctor Lao DVD. If you remember that. I've watched it a couple of times. I learned a lot about videos since then Including not writing too much about the acquisition of one.
