Usually this doesn't interrupt the test but the user may lose their results if they aren't signed in because the computer ID changes when your IP changes. When you came back to the test, what did it say in the browser? I have a beta that was originally for something else. It has some logic in it that would definitely make it much more difficult for any stoppage to happen. I plan to develop that new logic into the automatic speed test.
