php Posted May 15, 2005 CID Share Posted May 15, 2005 any chance its caused by the monitor being turned off, and then your computer going into standby? just a thought...
netmasta Posted May 15, 2005 CID Share Posted May 15, 2005 Make sure the vents aren't blocked. Monitors can get hot as easly as the computer itself. Also make sure the monitor isn't too close to a heater or in to much direct sunlight. Edit: You should also check your power settings. cak46 Posted May 16, 2005 CID Share Posted May 16, 2005 You could try a system restore.... :haha: Is there a reset button anywhere on it? A shot in the dark...... It really sounds like something internal is fried, as PHP said, not necessarily from heat.
