Supposed to help get you back up and running if you ever have an issue. Used it once actually. Fixed me up without calling any techs. We determined that it was the router.. (WRT54G) For some reason it was not behaving correctly even after a flash of new Linksys firmware.. So we put dd-wrt, a linux version that does void the warrenty, on the router and it has been fine now.. "it's not guaranteed.. only UP TO 6 meg" and I said.. "Fine, take it off cause I ain't paying for it." heh. And.. to beat it all, starting in Feb. they jacked my price up for basic by $3.
