CA3LE Posted September 26, 2004 CID Share Posted September 26, 2004 I just wanna show this off... I have been using SSH and telnet to admin my site for years... just for fun i got some remote VNC going, since the speed test I would run would not be accurate from my site (because well... the test subject is also the server) I went ahead and downloaded SP2 from microsoft... got it at about 33Mbps --- 270MB only took a few seconds to download ~ wish I had that at home ~~~ Sorry if it looks weird to some of you it's RedHat Can anyone beat that....... OH by the way, I tried to test at various testing sites and I couldn't get an accurate reading anywhere --- all read me at waaaaaay too low like lower than my home connection. Seems as if I freaked out their tests or something ---- DSLR could not be used because I don't feel like installing the java required to test (with linux you basically have to install every little aspect of the OS yourself --- and well, I am tired right now) LATER! disturbed Posted September 27, 2004 CID Share Posted September 27, 2004 i have purchased 2 distributions so far: mandrake 9.0 (powerpack edition) and redhat 9.0pro but ended up using the latest fedora project (using it now) due to the fact that those 2 dist.'s of linux had no or little support for my video car (ATI) - i like mandrake even better than fedora, but just couldnt get it to work with radeon 9000pro at ALL ! - tried everything ! luwigie Posted September 27, 2004 CID Share Posted September 27, 2004 Pretty nice ca3le. Now try downloading from my server That will fill up your 100 mbps download I have been administering my faster machines via vnc, but the slower ones that have a hard time running X (such as my 100 mhz P1 128 meg DNS server) via SSH. Try to do a download test when no one is testing...

CA3LE Posted October 8, 2004 Author CID Share Posted October 8, 2004 I see your getting an SP2 Keygen. Good luck! Nope that is just SP2 ~~ only SP1 gives illegal copies of XP a problem If you notice the file size over 200MB ~ now that would be a huge as crack
