Shug7272 Posted August 1, 2005 Author CID Share Posted August 1, 2005 ftp baby Well that sounds good and all but how do i set it up. Im familiar with ftp but never set one up. If possible id like the two pc's to communicate directly so i dont have my internet connection upload speed slowing me down. Any advice? fattymcbluff Posted August 1, 2005 CID Share Posted August 1, 2005 if the comps are on a lan then you should get ftp speeds of up 54mbps
Swimmer Posted August 1, 2005 CID Share Posted August 1, 2005 File and print sharing was made for this task.. just make sure that you turn it off once you are done.. FTP is great but the security risk is just to large.. once it is running.. it is running..
humorman Posted August 1, 2005 CID Share Posted August 1, 2005 Yep just setup a network or file and print sharing then just basically drag and drop.
