Redirect problems

hey, from about 2 days ago, everytime i look at any website, i get redirected to some stupid stuff and i have to click the back button, its annoying, i also get occasional popups..i did a spyware scan a couple times with multiple scanners, nothing found..anybody has a idea? thanks in advance

Have you tried scanning in safe mode? Did you also try hijackthis?

i tried safemode and hijack this, microsoft antispyware, ad-aware PRO, spyware doctor

You can also try spybot, trojanHunter, Ewido and/or A-Squared

It could be a BHO (Browser helper object, aka:toolbar). What browser are you using? If IE Do you have XP SP2 installed?

i use firefox, did a scan with all those tools again and i think it worked, i havent been redirected yet..

nvm, still happenin.

i think it worked, thanks cak :) i restarted fiefox and when i go to websites i dont get redirected no more...so far at least lol
