Swimmer Posted September 4, 2005 CID Share Posted September 4, 2005 microsoft firewall doesnt count as a firewall.. it only guards against inbound traffic.. you want both inbound and out bound.. download one of the many free firewall programs.. I personally like zonealarm.. if you are sharing file/folders/printers you are going to have to do some more configuring to make all of that working again... ExTrem3 Gam3r 43 Posted September 4, 2005 Author CID Share Posted September 4, 2005 Swimmer you seriously like zonealarm omg dude thyat has messed 2 of my computers up already i will never use that program again Also one of my computers says their is always limited or no connectivity and it was because of zonealarm lol
Swimmer Posted September 4, 2005 CID Share Posted September 4, 2005 that is what I have found to work... It is free and i havent found anything better for people who dont know what the hell they are doing.. like all of my friends.. I have no had any problems with it "screwing up" a computer... my guess is that maybe your computer wasnt clean.. but either way.. MS firewall != firewall.. it is a lame attempt..
