resopalrabotnick Posted September 6, 2005 CID Share Posted September 6, 2005 considering that anti-vehicle mines that do not require direct contact (in short they launch a projectile at a detected target from a disrtance, making breaching (clearing) them near impossible) are already deployed, this seems like a waste of funding. as with all mines, the smarter the better, because that means that they can be remote detonated by the user when no longer needed, not leaving behind the huge mined areas that exist all over the world following low intensity conflicts. theGODl337 Posted September 7, 2005 CID Share Posted September 7, 2005 who cares how much money the army gets they come up with huge technological advances so the money will end up paying off in the end even if a few of their projects are insane wastes of money some of those ideas end up being realized and creating whole new tech
