WoKeN Posted September 18, 2005 CID Share Posted September 18, 2005 Hey, i was wondering if fios was maybe the best choice for home users who want a big bandwidth. I mean do other companies who are competing with verizon offer such deals at somewhat close prices? I'm kinda naive about what other offers are out there since I've never really looked into it and I've always been a verizon customer when it came to internet service. tbaker397 Posted September 18, 2005 CID Share Posted September 18, 2005 If FiOS is available to you, then yes, it would make the most sense since its ina Fiber Connection. The only other company who is running direct FTTH and not capping @ 5Mbps(*cough* qwest *cough*) is Surewest who offer a 20/20 fiber service. But i see your in NY so FiOS would be best for you, unless you live in one of the Cable Vision's trial areas where they are testing 20/2.
