I have a computer with xp home on it. Now I want to put in a 2nd harddrive but on that 2nd harddrive I would put windows 2000 pro. Can it be done and how?? Thanks all. tbaker397 Posted September 19, 2005 CID Share Posted September 19, 2005 im not too sure, i think you put the hdd in, set it as a slave device using jumpers, then create a partition on it then install it, but im not too sure about that. I haven't done that in a while. That's it exactly. You can set the jumper to slave or cable select. Cable select will decide whether it's the slave or master after determining which cable end is plugged into it. After that, insert the Win2000 disc and go from there.
