ZeroOne Posted October 4, 2005 CID Share Posted October 4, 2005 I recently got a hard drive mp3 player (Creative Zen Micro). I was wondering if mp3 players can be damaged in anyway while passing through airport x-rays and/or metal detectors. Does anyone know the details about this topic? Thanks
jsdailey Posted October 4, 2005 CID Share Posted October 4, 2005 I would think that it would be safe as long as it didn't go near any really strong magnets, but who knows.

netmasta Posted October 5, 2005 CID Share Posted October 5, 2005 Yea, I don't see it as a problem either. A metal detector on the other hand, I'm not sure. But if it's going though an x-ray, chances are you don't have to worry about it going through a metal detector.
