hey schatjager and welcome to the forum :)

your latency is too high during test, try replacing the LAN cable beteeen your router/modem and your PC, if that dosent help, call your ISP and let them check modemsignal

RTT min:                60.2 ms

RTT max:              547.5 ms

RTT avg:              290.7 ms

Have another question for you guys...  Where did you see these numbers for my latency?  Just wondering so I can check them after switching out the cables and such..

if you scroll down at the tweaktest results, you see a link "more info" click on that

woooops....I meant 192.168.1.1

If that doesnt work, just go to network connections, right click ur high speed connection, go to status then support, look at default gateway, type that in. This should take u to ur modem's or gateway's control panel, thats if u r using the westell gateway, or modem that comes with the dsl package, otherwise you'll have to look it up under the status and support of ur high speed connection.

Since it seems u have tried everything, it seems as if the have u on the 768 connection, not 1500.

ok.  well i am using a router and it is showing me the router control panel and I do not see what the Caps are set at.  Might need to go directly to the modem.  However If I am still set at 768 then i can add one more thing that earthlink is lying to me about :  (

Got any firewalls?

If you have zonealarm, I can see this happening.

Also, when did you upgrade your connection? Like 2 to 3 days after you update they usually screw up and this happens. 786 is their lowest package and with overhead, it looks like you have it.

Believe me, I called them when I upgraded to 3.0MB and they verified it to be right, but testmy said that I had a 768 connection as well, it took a while but they fixed it.

They are always on edge with Database problems.

I really think it's all Verizon's doing.
