i2d | ScruFFy | Posted December 6, 2005 CID Share Posted December 6, 2005 You have to get capped, if you are affecting others on your node , then you will get capped, the business package maybe adds a static ip and maybe a 50 GB upload transfer rate a month, you are still running off the same pipe as the residential users and it will nerver compare to your dedicated sdsl line. Blunted Posted December 6, 2005 CID Share Posted December 6, 2005 there will be no cap with business which means 0 limit on usage which means i can upload and download all i want and not get capped. trust me man i called them up and thats the deal and you'll only get capped on regular optimum online. i2d | ScruFFy | Posted December 6, 2005 CID Share Posted December 6, 2005 Of course you can upload and download all you want even if you are capped, but if your going to use the line to host Q4 , UT 2k7 , Xbox games or w/e, like you said before , you will have 900 up abd only be able to do a 7 man. But now you have more upload, so maybe the cap will go up a little bit on residential side. There is a limit.
Blunted Posted December 6, 2005 CID Share Posted December 6, 2005 no man there is no limit i asked them and to prove it they offer web hosting which they didnt offer before. just as i said before i called and running servers is is fine on the upgraded package but not the regular

Hollywoodx954x Posted December 8, 2005 CID Share Posted December 8, 2005 yo resopalrabotnik, can you just shut the hell up? i mean we all know that your bad at internet and dont know what broadband is but can you shut up for once and let the man talk. Also eebobb, your gettting capped. There is nothing else to say but your getting capped, especially the way how you host.
Blunted 2 Posted December 8, 2005 Author CID Share Posted December 8, 2005 i called them up and asked if i would get capped for hosting on this package and they said you wont get capped on this tier of service so i guess that is it. no cap
