I guess I did not mean that short. If you let an engine just run continually at full throttle it is hard on them. But if you just take a short ride around the block, little harm done. And I happen to have a pc made by volkwagen... ...never mind, they can take it too.

You might think of it this way Roco, how long would you let an engine race or rev up? Not for very long but a short burst does not hurt much. I do it everyday with no trouble. Been doing it for over a year. Keeps the bugs out...and quit reading.

I defrag everytime I start up. It only takes a few minutes to get my updates and defrag and disk cleanup. Then I am good for the night and it does not take very long.
