  1. Running cpu-z I've had an error with my cpu as the speedstep is impossible to turn off. Is it possible to overclock this processor, I've tried using Clockgen from the creators of cpu-z overclocked maybe .600Mhz faster and if I went higher system would crash. What programs or BIOS features do I need to learn how to overclock. This is getting me rather heated as the motherboard rates a 1333FSB and with this processor I'm only pushing 1066.6MHZ With a bus speed of 266.7MHZ. Is it even possible to overclock this processor, thats the main reason I chose to buy a new computer, to Overclock. I wanna see what this processor and motherboard along with the ram can do. Rams at 400MHZ when it's rated at 800MHZ Whats up? Someone please help me.
  2. Haha this RMA's gonna make a few people laugh at the RMA center at newegg. Electrasol For the win !!! :haha: Ahh well, happy shipping RAM

  11. Also I hooked up my old Linksys router because now we have two computers, trying to connect both, worked fine, after that I started noticing speed drops, could the router be the culprit?
  12. Windows vista home basic Roadrunner - 15/1 mbp/s Gaming, no problem perfect connection. Loads all programs perfectly fine and very fast. Connects fine seeming to me. Downloading anything slow slow slow speeds. Connection set to 100mbp/s Full Duplex Reset modem, no difference. I'm loading webpages a little slower than normal, but still fast. :::.. 20. Thanks for the idea's found a dead batch of ram. returning tomorrow. Just having trouble with my network on the motherboard now, getting vary low speeds.
  21. As people have been watching this build they've been helping me. Well I got all the hardware got it all together, and now I'm getting random freezing. I've gotten to 6% Install (Windows Vista - Purchased Home Basic, Thought it'd work, as I installed an Legitimate copy I downloaded.) (Also purchase brand new SATA 250gig Western Digital.) So I'm hoping that $834.99 for the hardware, plus windows vista home basic ($199.99) and a brand new harddrive ($99.00) was well worth, a computer sitting in the middle of my bedroom floor. Someone please help me fix this, PLEASE The computer will start fine, and starts loading the windows vista home basic files fine, switching to loading the windows vista green bar sometimes doesn't work as I believe the system doesn't register the mouse and the keyboard. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. If I'm lucky and get the damn thing up and installing it will randomly crash as vista expands the files needed to install the OS. Please help me, I'm desperate at this point, I've had to install windows vista on the computer I was suppose to make of my new computer. Write a new harddrive on the new computer for this computer I'm on. I believe it's something very easy, although I could be wrong. Signed, A Guy In A Need Of Alot Of Help.
  22. I know it's depressing, Roadrunners suppose to be trying out the whole FiOS plan, hopefully they like it, and use it.
