  1. I don't care what any of y'all said, well that was mean but theres always going to be race war, specially with barak leading this far. It'll never be let down, as for the whole church thing, this country was made from different religions around all praying to the all mighty. In my opinion there will never be any stop to this, so hang on folks, gonna be a bumpy ride,
  2. My line quality is pretty horrid, pings jumping and ranging so I went into the modem page: 192.168.100.1 and I see that my transmit power is 46dBmV and my Receive power is -8.3dBmV is this normal, I had a 15/1 connection in new york that had a 35dBmV transmit and was just wondering since this is a lower internet connection 5/512 Just wondering...
  3. Found out what was making it crash, with nVidia's new performance installation with there motherboards and GPU's you can set your graphics to optimal overclocking, when saved as a profile, and launched at the beginning of every boot, causes the computer to crash, because the settings have not been set and tested, simply removed the profile from launching on system boot, and perfect as new. Was simple now that you think about it.
  4. Yes the settings show, I'll try setting 1:1 settings, pretty sure it will not boot as the fsb is 1066mhz and the ram is 800mhz, will try though.
  5. If you are using beta drivers they cause the card sometimes to be unreadable on certain motherboards. Stick to the drivers offered on your graphic card makers website, or at nVidia.com. Beta drivers are named beta for a reason, to test to see if they work. If you need to get a new driver, download driver cleaner pro, google it it's a free program you'll need to reboot into safe mode run the program restart install driver and then restart once more. Check it out.
  6. CPU-Z will not launch quick enough to find the RAM Timings, but I can tell you they are set at default which is auto across the board.
  7. I'm trying to set the board back to default, I've loaded default in bored, still causes problem, I know the max of this motherboard, and I know what the max is that I can achieve. No I'm not trying to run at like 4.0ghz Air. I'm trying to reset to default, I use to be able and now I'm not able to do so. I've de-updated the BIOS knocking it back to P06 insted of P07 P07 has many problems with the 680i motherboards. Again No I'm not trying to max out my computer, just want to set it back to default, and can not because computer crashes after loading programs in windows xp professional, ( completely up to date ).
  8. There at default of 4-4-4-18-2T and I haven't touched them since I've bought them, because they just do not overclock.
  9. it is updated to the latest, just bought the thing. Lol Well week old. But been running flawless, and I've had the same bored before for a year prior.
  10. After placing my Intel Core 2 Duo e6600 (2.4Ghz) into unlinked mode from RAM, WinTec industries, and booting my system crashes after about 1 min, into loading all of my programs. But switched to Linked at 2.7Ghz runs normal. All voltages are set at auto, predefining does not work good on this motherboard. nVidia 680i LT SLI Intel C2D E6600 - 2.4Ghz Wintec Industries 800Mhz Overclocked 5:4 1200Mhz FSB Linked to 800Mhz RAM (Runs flawlessly) Default - 1066Mhz FSB Unlinked to 800Mhz RAM (Crashes after programs boot)
  11. Found out what the BSOD error was. STOP: 0x0000007B - Referred to as either an unbootable harddrive, or a Boot-Sector Virus, going to see if it is infact a bootsector virus, and try to remove it.
  12. Yes I believe it to be this reason, I'm going to see if I can get an nvidia 680i LT again, hopefully. Recommendation would be nice. 650i or 680i, please respond.
  13. Board seems fine to me, this is also what I was thinking was the problem, I might RMA, because I don't need / want any better RAM, as this RAM is perfect, had it on my 680i LT worked flawlessly, until I dropped that motherboard. Sucks, was really putting forth a pull for this motherboard, I'll RMA, hopefully just get the 680i LT again, or maybe something newer. I'm going to see / call ASUS Support lines tomorrow, see if they have any suggestions, if I RMA, I will be very dissipointed with ASUS, as hey support almost every brand but Wintec Industries, or maybe just a bad move on my part. I don't know, I'm going to try until I can't anymore.
  14. Everything has been set to default, with over seeing to make sure, I'll go download Memtest 86, and see what I find, thanks for the input.
  15. I've finally come to the conclusion that ASUS forums will not get you any support, without waiting for weeks on end. I've come to where I know my questions will be answered with help, not with bullsh*t. So check this problem out, tell me what you think, and or how to fix it. Thank you! I've recently as of the 8th of this month, ordered a ASUS P5N-D SLI 750i Motherboard, because I needed cheap but yet performance enabled motherboard. So I finally got it today, and put everything together, tried launching with everything on default and without touching or messing with the BIOS, post came up, then flashed twice, before media shield launched and within 1 second vanished, and then XP started to load. about the third line through the loading logo, it crashed, and so I let it retry, finally coming to the conclusion I needed to update the BIOS. So I proceeded with updating the BIOS. Got there most recent release of the motherboards BIOS, Revision 0302, which fixed CPU related crashes and helped stability. Updated and everything worked fine. Still did the same thing with the crashing at windows logo. then it struck me that it could be the memory as it is not covered by the company in their manual. So I started taking it out anc tried to see if maybe it was a dead stick, nothing tested everyone still same thing happens. Now with all of this going on, the blue screen of death ends after the XP Logo crash, saying a technical error, or something, it's only within 1ms, that the BLOD disappears, I've tried to catch it with my video camera, with its fps pause and play feature. Only catch the technical error part. So I'm now beginning to become mad, I think lets try everything see what the hell's going on. Switch graphics cards from a 8800gts (320mb) and a 7600GS (256mb) nothing, remove my soundcard, nothing, remove the CD-R drive and the DVD-RW drive, nothing, I'm now about to write a CD with their beta and first release of their BIOS, just to see if it's catch with them. If you have or could help in anyway, please feel free to assist. I'll be here til' 11 before I just say whatever. I really don't want to return, nice looking motherboard. Along side a nice BIOS layout. Thank you all! - Philly.
  16. I need a 5mb down and 600kb upstream please and thank you if anyone could possible do that for me...

  19. Yeah, thats the one I'm currently using, was just wondering about any other tweaks possible in vista with cablenut, thanks for searching.
  20. alright since you've fixed his I was wondering about my own, as in vista is the only settings changable just the send window? If not can you give me a setting file for vista, for 15mbps and 1mbps, please and thank you.
  21. I'm looking to help a friend out, his connection only reports 7.6megs down and 1meg up. His ISP package is 20 megs down, and 1 meg up. I'm getting him to try cablenut, and need a file setting for 20megs down and 1 meg up. OS: Windows XP Download: 20Megs Upload: 1Meg Please help, thanks.
  22. Within Vista, you can not tweak this. Until a patch comes out where Windows offically says that their stacking method is rather...Not useful, you should all understand that Vista is a step above other operating systems, or so says Microsoft executives. There is offically no way to tweak you're download speeds only uploads. Again tweaks for Vista's TCP as in XP is current not avalible. Maybe, hopefully it'll be taken out as of SP1, thats what I'm hoping for. Nothing made me come to this conclusion it's just my personal believe. Or at least a way to completely disable it and tweak it yourself. That would be the best alternative I could possibly think of. Anyone else think this is a good idea?
  23. Furry Welcome, like Furry says there are many software programs out there most allow 1-5 free converts before they ask you to register, or purchase the program. Google "ImToo" I use their programs from changing .mov to .mpeg and like wise .wma to .mp3 - Hope this helps!
  24. Chatting with a one-on-one tech right now, going to see what he has to say about this...
  25. I'm using this website, I've used it for years and it's given me very accurate numbers. http://webdeveloper.earthweb.com/repository/javascripts/2001/04/41291/byteconverter.htm I have not called my ISP, but I wanted to ask this community before I went and made an ass of myself, you know?
