Alright I took this out a long time ago out of my sony vaio. some of you may remember. Anyways I just found the multimedia mpeg 2 encoder hardware that came along with the sony IE: Media Centre OS. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a driver or anything that could help me set this up. And is it even possible to run this hardware on my setup? Try updating? Vista still has many errors and if you're computer can't support vista most likely this is whats happening - Explorer using all of you're memory Unless you have a good computer this is the only thing I can think of.

I want to upgrade to vista ultimate, but honestly I don't see it in my near future so Its on hold. Guess the answer is, a faster computer = the better performance out of Vista. I don't no what everyone's running but I get the same performance if not facer than XP Home, and my Internet speeds are still the same, and maxed out acrossed the board.

Bought windows vista home basic, Easy to use, better program loading. To me vista = Big upgrade, then again I'm also running a Core2Duo. Think of an upgrade maybe to people who don't like the OS they have been so use too. XP had the same problems too people. Give it time, before you shut it out. Just my two cents

I've installed the correct drivers for the intelli-type software. The keyboards not responding to the boot up on windows, vista could windows vista be a default. As it does not recognizers the hardware? Please help, Intellitype software for vista? Is it out.

Yeah we've all heard of the horror stories with firefox and media player and how firefox needed the plugin .ddl' s for webpages offering media player videos. But Heres a new one. Vista + Firefox + Media Player, It's not letting me play any media player files. I downloaded and installed all the files needed in XP and put them in the correct folder. I'll go try and put them in the firefox plugin folder, thats how I fixed it in XP. Might or might not work. Lets see.
