Wow, thats pretty bad on Comcasts side. But I only did about 4 tests, and connection came back at full force randomly. I moved into this home about 3 weeks ago, it was pre-wired so the Time Warner tech didn't look at any of the wiring. So im pretty sure theres a faulty connector somewhere along the line. I have the 3 package deal with them, digital tv, phone and internet. The only service that slowed down or noticed a drop of connection was my internet, tv and phone were both fine. But there has been some occasions where the phone doesn't receive a dial tone and simply messing with the coax brings it back up. When I get enough time, Ill replace all the coax in this home, untill then, im about 99.9% sure its a faulty connector. Ran into some recent speed problems with my current provider, untill today I have been 100% pleased with Time Warner's Road Runner service (cable internet). Also I have tried all the stickys, The above results are with firewall(s) off, and virus protection disabled. Before this, my speeds avg'd 4.9-5.1Mbps / 340's Kbps. Im thinking this is a signal problem on Time Warners end, because recently my modem has been losing connection with the send and recieve lights going off. Sometimes when I restart my modem the send light doensn't even light up, I have to play with the coaxial to get it to connect.
