I am having problems too and they dont know why and i had a new modem and new line from the pole and the same thing still. I am able to get 26/4.5 from nyc speakeasy but everywhere else is like 2 mb including my ISP's ftp server which should be the fastest. A tech is coming here tomorrow with a laptop and a new modem and if he has to will run another line to the pole for another modem. how can i get more from another isp's speed test rather than my own. It has to be something along the route it takes because nyc would be slow if it was on my end but look what i get. also i get about the same speed to Washington , DC but look at Washington, DC now. no you can tweak it a bit and get more because my friend has fios 20 mb and he gets 20 mb. Are you using windows xp ?

Hey Cable now thats your here i cant do any upload tests as well as some others with OOL or Verizon Fios and anyone else with over 4 mb upload. With the 5 mb upload we have it forwards us all the way to 12159 kb upload test and says forwarding to results page and sits there forever. other mirrors do this as well but not all of them.

Mine does that but without the error voltageman. I think its because of the 5 mb upload we have it keeps forwarding to a bigger test and doesnt do anything. I told cable a while ago and got no reply at all and i tried again and no reply again. it used to work on the 12159 kb test upload but now it doesnt work at all. i also noticed some mirrors also forward me while some dont. Man i had it wrapped in a towel and wondering if its gonna catch fire and in a few minutes my screen popped up in the dashboard by itself so i turned it off to let it cool off and i got a fan from radio shack i had laying around so i put it behind it pulling air out of it to keep it cool and it stayed on for about an hour now and i even played a few games. If anyone else does this dont be stupid and keep using it because as he said it might be a temp fix so return it while you can for credit and get a new one.

Do you have a reinstall cd for your laptop ? If you do try going to update the driver and have it search the cd for drivers.

i think he has the 15/2 or 10/2 because those are the only 2 with 2 mb upload and thats what he has been getting.

just fill in the settings you want and when your done just hit file on top left and hit save custom settings file and name it then save it where you want.

this is what every other mirror says if it forwards me to a bigger test in the pic. servers that dont forward me to a bigger file i can get a result for but it loads too fast and it cant get an accurate reading with the 2992 file.

i've got 5 mb upload but this site no longer works for it and every mirror sends me to the 12159 kb upload file and sits there at the end saying forwarding to results page and never goes there. the only test i can get results on is Diablo's mirror but its file is too small and i cant get upto full speed. can you help me get this fixed because i messaged cable a few times and he never replied back to me. :::.. i got rid of them because it couldnt remove most of the viruses the system had so i tried kaspersky and avg and they both worked way better.
