  1. sorry man with those tests i think you just have powerboost and thats it
  2. yes they can easily handle it dslreports.com speed test: 23120 / 3795 (Kbps) (2822.3 / 463.3 KB/sec) Compared to the average of 567 tests from optonline.net: * download is 127% better, upload is 90% better
  3. DOCSIS Downstream Upstream 1.0 38 Mbps 10 Mbps 2.0 40 Mbps 30 Mbps 3.0 160 Mbps 120 Mbps you never posted a test from here www.speakeasy.net/speedtest or http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest
  4. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DOCSIS
  5. not for all the users at 1 time it isnt
  6. if they can do it then why dont they? i dont think they can since the fastest teir they have is 16/1 and its only in areas with fios around. comcast is only docsis 1.1 which i dont think it can do those speeds
  7. i tried to get on the beta for 50/50 but i cant because its not in my area yet
  8. what programs you using cause some throw it off a bit and i just find it hard to believe. comcast doesnt even offer its highest tier in all of its area's yet and didnt even finish this old upgrade yet so why wwould they offer a new 1 and still keep that slow 768 upload. if its right then good for you man just show me some proof if you get it sometime do a speedtest on these http://www.testmy.net/tools/test/d_load.php?&st=st&tt=1&ta=1&top=000&out_src=20MB www.speakeasy.net/speedtest http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest
  9. the modem doesnt matter its the ISP and if it responds to SNMP it will work. try the program i said above with the graphs and post what that says
  10. you know what try this program with windows xp http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d.h.walker/docsdiag/#runwin download docsdiag and when you open the folder click the 2kXP-win and type java -jar docsdiag.jar -vvv>output.txt and then look in the folder that you downloaded and a file called output will be there. attach it in your next post and i'll tell you what your cap is and until you do it i wont believe you. sorry but i need the facts here is a program thet will make a graph of what speeds you downloaded at if you want to try it
  11. i dont know but i have seen some weird comcast tests and i dont think they are coming out with that cause they dont even have there 16/1 service out in all area's where fios is and that makes me think its not real unless they announced it. my isp is coming out with a 50/50 that is in beta and they announced it and will be available in Q1 of 2007 so until it is announced i dont believe it. sorry but thats me i need facts
  12. well just wait a little and i bet some powerboost users come in here and post what you have and i said the same thing to them. some get that high and even for that long of a download for some reason.
  13. i still think its powerboost cause i looked at your scores and alot of other powerboost users get those speeds way after the 45 second mark. sorry but i still doubt it
  14. you just have powerboost and thats probably cached so clear your cache and try again

  16. i doubt its real cause thats about 50 mb and his cap is 10mb
  17. here is 2 16 man games and the graph showing what it uses but depending on where the people live it could use more or less.
  18. as far as i know RR doesn't offer 5 mb up and they don't even in area's that fios is available. the only cable ISP i know of is the 1 i have Optimum Online which can go up to 5 up and 30 down. any other ISP i have seen try to compete with fios only had 2 mb up RR included.
  19. so what your saying is i can buy a TV and return it months later and put it toward a new 1 ?
  20. i will upload them to my website later but i had to go back to work so i left and wondered if cable even knows about this problem.
  21. i would post some pics but the attachments still dont work. any idea when it will be fixed cause its been a long time already
  22. you cant host 16 man games on anything lower than 1500 Kbps upload and i'll prove it if you want me to cause i get host 90% of the time and every 16 man game uses over 1.5 mb up to 2 mb up. i would say atleast 75% of people on halo cant host a 12 man or above thats why its laggy alot on there.
  23. lol :haha: some people put out more than others :haha:
