This is just MY opinion now ....but ....I would say ...if it's computer or internet related then it's general.. If it's a Ball game, car race, movie, etc.....then it's off topic..(they have nothing to do with this site)

Well unfortunately ...all ISP's advertise their speeds in Kbps....Kilo BITS per second.... kb/s...or KBs....refers to Kilo BYTES per second.. It takes 8 bits...to make a BYTE most internet sites are running 8 bit words...unless it's a 16 bit secure site...or 32 bit encrypted... Does this help explain it any..
