Actually thats not entirely true. I installed Vista on my girlfriend's comp with a Radeon Express 200 chipset (which is integrated) and it ran fine with aero glass enabled.

Quite a while ago I noticed that when you click on a test mirror, it opens up a new browser window. Is it possible to change this? I find it quite annoying trying all of the test mirrors and ending up with like 10 different windows (or tabs) for one site. Thanks man. -Diablo321

yeah samsung makes great monitors. i have a 172N 17 inch and have never had any problems with it. used to play games on it all the time and never had that "ghosting" problem people have talked about with LCD screens. mine is only vga compatible because its like 3 years old but i really cant tell the difference...

No. Why would you want to wait until ATI releases their version? Once again, they are behind. It took them forever to come out with a dx9.0c chip remember? By the time they come out with a dx10 version itl be xmas 07 (exagerating of course). In my opinion, the main reason the prices of the cards come down in time is because yields get better and demand increases. Not because of competition from ATI. Go nVidia!

the upload isnt near as fast, but its still pretty good. i believe its hosted on a OC192 fiber connection. keep in mind that this is SHARED bandwidth, and im in a library that has like 40 computers. and actually, the connection is shared with the whole school district, which is about 15 or so 5A schools. pretty fast eh.. it probably has like the perfect route too, since testmy is in dallas and im in houston. :::.. How are you getting those speeds with roadrunner? The max that is offered by them in my area is 8mbit down and 512kbit up, and that's for the premium package. What are your advertised speeds? What router do you have?

I'm not really sure what you're trying to ask but i'll take a crack at it. I looked at that program you use called "azureus" and its a torrent client. Now you said that you are having trouble "uploading", which I take it that means letting other users leach from you. In order for azureus to run as a server and let you upload files to other users, you must forward a port. Go to File-->Configuration Wizard and follow the instructions until you see NAT/Server Port. The port you must forward is defaulted to 6881 but you can change that if you want. Just make sure that whatever port you put in that box, you tell your router to forward to your computer. EWO, there is obviously something wrong with that speakeasy server. If you notice, the shackspace mirror is hosted on the speakeasy network, meaning you should still receive the same speeds. Also, there is no way you can go from less than 1mbit from ALL other servers, and then jump up to 8mbit with another. That's great that your getting that speed with them, but it's hard to believe you get over 10 times the speed that is advertised. Don't it kinda make you think theres something wrong? -Diablo321
