I'm on charter Cable in Traverse City. love the new speed increase. in the past year i've gone from a 256/128 connection to a 3000/256 one with only a slight increase in cost. when charter had the promotional 2000/128 thing I got hooked on that speed, and before reverting to the new 384/128 tier, I opted for the 39.95 2000/256 package. then to my surprise yesterday I power cycled my modem for unrelated reasons. and discovered I was downloading at nearly 400k/bytes per second. so i'm happy concidering I was paying $35 a month for the 256/128 before as part of a tv/pipeline bundle. $75 all together ($40 for the TV, $35 for the internet service i'd guess) though I now pay about $95 a month that's 39.95 a month for the modem and Digital cable with about 50 mor channels than I was getting before, so it's not a bad deal.
I think
12 times the download speed, and twice the upload speed plus so many more tv channels.. is worth the extra $20
