I can't imagine surfing that fast. Does anyone know if a computer will top out at some specific speed.

I thought there were extra jacks on modem, just for networking. I thought it was just a matter of plugging router into extra jack.

Yea I don't know where people heard that, cause the 3000 or 1 way service is all they stopped.

I logged in to testmy at the same time I was on testmy with main comp and it wouldn't work anymore. Changed web sites and it worked fine. Go figure. thanks for heads up on lan, looked at everything else.lol

I have the same problem with my laptop. My friends can bring theirs to my house and connect, no problem, but I go to their house and avg, etc will update, but I can't surf the web. Haven't figured it out in 6 months. More I read about networking, the less I understand. Shouldn't someone x out his physical address?

tommie you forgot the firewall thingy. I went round and round with z/a, finally went back to windows firewall. Have run all the proper test and they say I'm invisible. My speeds were better. Just a thought.
