Same here with the node issue. Evety great once in a while the drop to around 8 meg but the upload never changes.

I know what you mean about using the larger settings. I'm still using the cablenut setting from the 4000/384. That upload is great. Good speeds for using a router!

I always used Cablenut. Thought I would try TCP Optimizer and I started getting speeds like you. The test ran a lot smoother I admit but I lost speed so I went back to Cablenut and my speeds returned. Where are you located? I'm in Northern Kentucky. Edit: Are you still using a router?

I have Insightbb. and they have been out here so much I know all of them by name. They have replaced everything here. The Field Supervisor put in a request to replace the line running from the main road to my house and thats 4 tenths of a mile. Believe me when I say "The squeaky wheel gets the grease" :

They will check your lines and hook up a meter to your modem line and probable say its good. Make him do speed test here and a few other speed sites. I don't use AOHell. I have a WebSTAR DPC2100r2 from Insight. Yes your modem is not compatable any more. If you are renting the modem tell them you want a new one. If you own it I would go to Walmart and get a Motorola SB5120 for $59.00.
