  9. I kind of had the same problem with my Trackman Marble+. Thats the older White or creamish colored one. It would make the screen all jittery when I would scroll and then it would go away. I bought one of the new one that are USB for my wifes computer. About a month ago it started acting up again so I unplugged the The older one and tried the new one and everything worked good again. But to make sure I plugged the old one back in and it started acting like crap so I went out and bought a new one and haven't had a problem yet. But I'll warn ya if you have the older one that is white you'll have to get used to the new shape. I miss my old one (RIP) I had it since 1999.

  13. The extra speed you are getting is boost for a short period then goes back to normal. Could you run a tracert and post it here?
  14. Maybe he will get a hold of you. Spam his mail boxes until he get in touch. I know you know how to spam, :2funny:
  15. I have XP home with SP2 and did the install with the "iereset" and it didn't hurt anything. But I'm not having any problems. The others I'm not sure about. I'll bet when Sequoia reads this he will have an idea or two. Have you tried contacting him?
  16. I'm lost now.
  17. I believe it the one with just "ie" under the folder. If you right click it, it will give an option to install. #4 solution
  18. Did you try #4?
  19. Good luck!
  20. did you put the space between the "c" and the "/" sfc /scannow
  21. I got my first LCD this year and got a Samsung 940N. Couldn't be happier. Had to get my wife a comp for her to do her work on and it came with a Samsung 941BW widescreen. Both are great but myself I prefer the 940N. But its up to you which kind of monitor you want. 940N: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824001089 941BW: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001088
  22. With the power off and you ground yourself to the PSU it will be alright. w3hen I say ground I mean touch one of the screws to the PSU case. That way it will carry the static down the ground leg of the plug.
  23. this might work with Maxthon seeing as it uses IE. http://www.techsupportalert.com/more/extended.htm#47 111 - Best Free Ad Blocker for Internet Explorer Firefox users can effectively remove ads from web pages using the excellent free Ad-Block extension but there has been no comparable free add-on for Internet Explorer. Until now, that is. IE7Pro not only provides ad blocking but tab management, proxy switching, mouse gestures and more including a very valuable crash recovery feature. There's even a Firefox GreaseMonkey-like scripting feature that allows you to add more functionality such as a rather neat skin for Gmail. Hey with all these additional features you can convert IE7 into an almost passable alternative to Firefox ;>) Seriously, IE7Pro is a terrific product and a must for all IE7 users. In fact it's so good that I suspect the pressure to convert it to a commercial product may well prove irresistible so download it now while it's free. http://www.ie7pro.com/ Freeware, Internet Explorer 7, 985KB.
  24. Its called static electricity. IT will knock out your board and other stuff. Thats why they make static straps.
  25. Here is a good deal from Newegg on a 22" Samsung. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001240&CMP=EMC-IGNEFL121107&ATT=N82E16824001240&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL121107-_-Monitors-_-E5M-_-24001240
