We keep our thermostat around 61-63 degs.

I got one pipe that freezes and I turn the water on then use a propane torch and heat the pipe and when I hear water run I quit heating. I think a salamander would work good as long as you keep an eye on it and check the floor to see if its getting to hot.

What is the easiest way to transfer files from laptop to desktop? Would it be USB or through the NIC RJ45 plug? My father in law is 80years old and bought my wifes Dell 531s from her and wants to transfer his files from the laptop to the desktop. I need a link or a detailed response. I've never done this so I need help. Thanks in advance for helping.

I've been using the XP SP3 RC scine it came out and never have had any problems and XP runs real smooth.

I disabled itunes & WMP update about a year a go. Don't need the newest one out there. Still using WMP10 because I think WMP11 sucks!

Yeah it does. Last summer they wanted volunteer's to put devices on their A/C Units so they could shut them down for short periods of time during crunch time. For this they offered a one time $25 break on your bill.

Duke Energy has replaced all the electric meters here with digital one so they could read them from the office. No telling what else they can do from the office with these meters!
