  4. for me firefox and mozilla suite is more faster, i.e. never liked it. i just got used to firefox. its been almost 2 years since i started using firefox. and the last time i used i.e. was over 8 months. plus the theme i got for firefox and thunderbird matches microsoft office 03 theme
  5. i just went to SYSTEM PROPERTIES.Only has 56MB RAM. This computer wont handle XP. I already tried it. It's too slow. LAter once I buy more RAM and a 40GIG HD i might install XP

  11. download from limewire in compressed 120 MB i probably didnt do something right from this part
  12. i did this and alot of stuff came out WIN98_56 CAB etc etc etc 86 files 111,731,245 bytes 0 dir 0 bytes free
  13. I did this now it went to" E:" typed in "cd win98" it said invalid directory
  14. When I type "CD E:" at C: prompt, it just does the same thing goes to C:> looks like this: C:>CD E: E:> C:> (skip the E:> )

  18. i get stuck at "Then at the C: prompt type CD E: that will bring up the cd rom, now at the E: prompt type CD win98 that will bring up the win98 folder then type" copy *.* C:win98 " and hit enter, when it's done you can take the cd out of the drive and the floppy out and restart the PC." at C: prompt enter "CD E:" it says Invalid drive specification
  19. i clicked 1 now its on this: Windows 98 has detected that drive c does not cotain a valid FAT or FAT32 partition . There are several possible causes. 1. This drive may need to be partitioned on the drive, run FDISK from MS-DOS command prompt. 2. You may be using third-party disk-partitioning software, If you are using this type of software, remove the Emergancy BOOT Disk and restart your computer from a floppy disk. 3. Some viruses also cause your drive c to not register. You can use a virus scanning program to check your computer for viruses. what do i do?
  20. ok i just restarted comp with floppy in. this pops out 1. start computer with cd rom 2. start without cdrom 3. view help file. what i do next?
  21. i just downloaded from limewire and saved the files to a disc (cd-r) wont do anything bootdisk? i never installed win 98 i know how to reformate and install win xp. much more easier
  22. having trouble here i just downloaded win 98se . i save all files to cd-r. i put the cd-r in the old computer, restarted and it wont do anything any other way?
