What type of modem do u have? You should reset ur modem and then re-installing ur software it worked for me when i first installed AT&T DSL Package i was running @ 25kbps Download and 243kbps browsing speed but after reseting and re-installing software i run 590kbps/ 70kbps

When u really think about it what would be faster a direct cable to the connection or a WIRELESS think about it unless the router is like a 2.4Ghz or something.

Ok so thers only really one phone jack? if that is the problem call someone to install another one near by or wherever for about 10-20 bucks Next install the DSL Cable directly to the phone jack without using a filter, coneect the DSL Cable to the modem and so forth. next install a filter in the phone jack that is not connected to the DSL line and then connect ur phone to that filter. any problems im here for ya

First off y do u even want a wireless router for we all know they go slow. u should just return ur wireless router and buy urself a new video card or something useful

I really dont know because i use DSL but u should like call ur Cable Co. to get that fixed or get a new Cabble modem might speed up ur connection too.

Shit ur lucky i have like the crappiest piece of crap ever made by any company. i only have 256 RAM! but it really does matter what type of MB u have because there's diff sizes of RAM and if u have and old MB new ones wont fit so just look for ur size and just dont overclock
