  6. i havent used any tweaks just TuneUo Utilities 06 she couldnt have tweaked her lappy (shes blonde) and she gets freaked out when she sees a popup lol...

My 10Mb connection was constantly very fast it seemed, but today my sister came to stay for a few days away from university. she asked me if she could use the pc i told her that she could just use her lappy and not downlaod spyware on my machine, so i hooked it up via ethernet and off she went.... i couldnt help but do a quick speed test and to my amazement she had a constant test result of 9.4Mb...... my machine is now gettting slower..... obviosuly its not the connection because she can achiebve high speeds and my computer is just slow... the max i get is 5mb nothing faster... :::..   11. p0rnrh3tt Welcome to the forum, well try As VanBuren says try a bigger file because when you use a small one all the connection does is starts and seconds later it stops it dosent have enought time to reach its peak/maximum speed using a large file will max it out and hopefully give you an accurate test.

  15. I used to be with BT - British Telecoms but they dont offer a mb anymore as all the customers have been moved to their stupid 8Mb speed which always gave me problems. I actually never saw 8Mb i only got max was 3.5Mb. So i moved to telewest Broadband and i am currently getting this :::.. Well only on thursday i joined Telewest Cable / Blueyonder and even though their service is more reliable its not really as fast as it says im sure it will take some tweaking but this cableut app to me is confusing and i dont know what setting to change. I am on a 10mb D/L 520 U/L I am connected to the modem directly via ethernet the modem is hokked to the net via a standard coxial cable.   25. i personally am in afvour of what microsoft are doing, its not fair it takes $$$ to develop an os and people only go and download a hack or a crack for the os, its just like stealing from someones handbag/purse taking their owings.
