I have posted in the past about my slow connection speed. I have tryed every tweak,cablenut setting,manul tweak..........you name it. Speed is good for about 5 to 10 minutes untill the cap kicks in,then the bottom falls out. I contacted Cebridge about my problem and they said to upgrade to a commercial account,problem is the only diff is betwene a standard account and a commercial account is the upload...................i sometimes exceed thier upload speed for commercial accounts. So in closing i want to say i give up,Cebridge sucks and i'm tired of fighting them. Think i'll go back to dial up.......

Ok i thought you said in your first post that the monitor would not recieve a signal,the video card also has a bios and i thought maybe it was conflicting with the onboard......my reason for thinking you were getting the bios checksum error.

Have you disabled onboard video?

I have a stange problem....the problem is,as my download speed goes down,my upload speed goes up. My connection is 1000/128,but it ranges from 1.4 mb down to the upper 100Kbs at times. While my up load is from 198 to the middle 300s. I have not figured this out,so can anyone tell me why this is happening,and how to fix it? Thanks

The programmers and or programmer of the about:blank home page hijacker virus should be hung up by their thumbs and their skin stripped off them. This is the most evil hijacker i have ever came across,i have worked on a number of computers that has been hijacked by this damn,rotten,stinking virus. I have tryed to help people in chat rooms that have been infected,but this is one that ,unless you are setting in front of the computer that has been infected it is very hard to remove...........hell its hard to remove if your are setting in front of the infected computer, i have had to give up and reformat. Thank God for spyware blaster,it keeps any spyware from running so my system has never been infected and any computer i worked on to remove the virus ,i have installed spyware blaster. I hope Van or the other moderators does not think this is a spam for spyware blaster. Thanks for letting me vent

Thanks guys I'm runing xp pro and i defrag my hdd every 4 days. I know there was a cache bug in ie 4 and 5 where the browser did not clear out the old files to make room for the new ones. But i dont know if this is the case with 6,must be because its microsoft after all,any way when doing the download test,the progress bar will stall for a second or two,but after clearing the cache,the download test will progress without problems. Thank You

After trying many tweaks,i finely found a cablenut coustom file that improved my speed over what i was getting. I have a 1mg down and 128 up connection with cebridge. But here is my problem,my browser cache is slowing me down. Here is the test result with cache cleared.
