For about 2 days a little while back I had speeds like that on a 12/1 connection. I called my ISP and threatened to cancel my service if they didn't fix it. Two hours later shazam! They even replaced some of the coax in my neighboorhood.

Satelite costs more, requires more maintenance, and is unreliable. (No offense)

Just get a friend in the inner city to run you a 20 mile ethernet cord to your house!
