What should i set it to? A good number, if it is too high what will happen?

The patch changes it to 50 or how many ever you want. I did see some guy changed his to like 200. How do you get it to 200?

Well i want to delete SP2 if it helps connection, but those methods wont let me uninstall, i cant see uninstall SP2, Spunist.exe isnt there but i searched it, and clicked of the files (there was like 15 spunist.exe but it says it restores before xp was installed) i dont want to remove xp. I deleted recent restore point.

Oh you uninstaleed SP2, i thought you uninstalled the patch and speeds got better.

So its normal for me to have worse connections when both computers are using high bandwidth, Linksys says that you should have the same connection as if you had a modem for each computer. Something with dedicated bandwidth in the router. I also heard that rogers is upgrading thier internet, extreme from 5mbit down to 6 mbit and they upgrade lite speed too, some people saying 3mbit to 4mbit. I hope this is true for the 3mbit.

I talked to linksys support and they told me to put auto on both pc's and 10 half duplex on router. I figured out when i do a speed test on the other computer it doesnt lag at all on this computer.

Nevermind it diddnt fix the problem, but the linksys support gave me a new beta firmware for my router. On the setup page it has Speed & Duplex setting which is new from the new firmware. What should i set that to, I have both computers on 10 mbs half duplex.

FInally its all good now, thanks for help. Now when both computers are using high bandwith i am still getting the same qualitly as if i were using the connection by my self

i read it, i have already installed the newest firmware and relfashed. Also i have the BEFSR41 version 3.

Linksys website is down, ill check it out later, too bad i dont have qos packet on router. So far i have 10 mb half duplex on both computers and qos packet is on both computers as well. I want to get a better connection than my other computer. It is really annoying how it lags and spikes when using high bandwith.

linksys told me to change duplex to 10mbs half duplex to avoid data collision

They are both the same speed, it is just when the other computer is using high bandwith, so in games or web browsing or speed testing it spikes and sluggish. So when the router for the computer port is blinking a lot it lags

When i do ping yahoo.com -f -l 1500 it says packets needs to be fragmented but DF set.

I have done that, but my problem is that my router isnt sharing the same speed as if i were using the connection by it self
