Hey i have the befSR41 version 3 router, how do i reflash my router. I want to know how its done properly

i dont know if they are my neigbours, there is no point of me going on their connection because its very slow!

I am not gonna connect to either open or protected conncetions, i just wanna know its used for, im currently on a laptop.

hey thanks a lot all good now, This is off topic, im on a laptop and it has integrated wireless Wireless ready. Integrated dual band antennae can be configured to support multiple standards including 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g i go to the conncetion and i click view availabe conncetions and all connections come up like linksys and some other names like SMC. Some of them need network keys and some of them dont. The ones that dont are slow, can i get a good conncetion off this?

hey thanks, what free firewall do you recommend, and if i delete SP2 and it failed can i still restore my computer.

its just that is slowing me down, when its disabled my computer runs much faster, btw can i disable it from msconfig?

is there a way i could delete windows firewall or go back to sp1? i really dont want windows firewall it is slowing me down

hey, i tried that and still same problem, i think it is becuase i installed a firewall and mabye tahts why its happening, i deleted all firewalls i had and still same problem. It is like the computer thinks i still have the firewall but it realizes it doesnt have it then it changes status. I installed sygate and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2006 but both deleted

hey i found out the problem, it turns out windows firewall is slowing me down. i went to secuirty center and i disabled it but when i restart and my comp starts up its on at the beggining then it turns off How can i fix that? Or do i get another firewall or something? its annoying i turn off firewall restart then it turns on, then mabye 30 secs after startup is done it turns off help!

no, i think i messed up with memory optimizer stuff that possibly made things slower.

you know here msn buddy icon is and other tasks are there, those icons load up slower than they used to be. it takes a while now.

Hey, i have windows xp pro and when i log on i would like it show the blue screen where it says pick an account and click. Not the password promt, just where u click the account and you log on How do i get that? thanks

this computer had xp when it was bought, is there any way to restore stuff to defualt or reinstall xp without cd or something?

do i need a static ip for that? BTW: when i do the static ip stuff, i cant go to outlook express, an error comes and something wrong with pop3 when static ip is configured

it kind of slowed my system down, i had to restore my computer and run error checking and defrag. I think it is something with memory, because things on tray used to get on the comp so fast.

how do i know if xp is preinstalled? MY comp when it loads is slower than it used to be, when i put a static ip it gets a little faster but windows outlook express doesnt work becuase something with pop3 port doesnt work Is there any way to make loading faster, i heard something about msconfig?

Hey, My router is fine when i am on the computer alone, but when my brother is on and i think he downloads my ping in counter-strike 1.6 goes from 20 to about 150 and it keeps spiking I am currently on Linksys BEFSR41 and i upgraded firmware. I dont know what static ip is but i did it anyways but i dont know if its right or not, for the ip address in control panel do i put any ip address and it will work??
