I think we should encourage these new members to not only get help on this site but come back to help others. Maybe start guides in areas they know a lot in and or just learn and contribute.

They can slow it down a little but not as much as if you had a lot of those programs running at the same time.

hey...anyone???...I thought having a bunch of stuff on your desktop slowed your computer down...but it seems that most of you have a ton of stuff there...so what's the question you ask...the question is...does it slow it down or not?

Heres mine.When I use the print screen button my screenshot saves from paint as a .bmp I then have to convert it to .jpg

is this the way it should be? Are your screenshots .bmp or something else? Do you have to convert them to .jpg?

cholla: I did the screen print and pasted to paint the way they told me to and saved from there as jpg...it defaulted to bmp but in the rolldown was jpg so i chose that then i edited the size in photoshop
