test from speed test.net thats what i get when i test from speedtet.net i am on the 5M/512K package by charter... we called verizon about their fios connection, and they have a guy coming out this saturday. we are getting onto their 15/2 package or 15/1 i cant remember which it is, but either way its fast.

nice , im on their 5 meg right now, it works nice.... but i need mroe speed!!!!!!! i may get theri 10 come the enxt month or so.... or maybe get the 15/2 fios connection by verizon....

i dont know, but the reason its so slow right now is cuz theres like 500 people on network right now... when im alone in the morning at my zero period... i get so much more speed.... the speed is often 5-10 times higher than the 3 megs i get right now...... if its some type of fiber connection how can it get like 5meg upload on a good day.....? i thought fiber uploads were capped at 2Megs....

ya, but download is not so hot... we get same download as upload.... i'm thinking that it must be sdsl...... but last time i checked sdsl usually dosent go over 3 megs... and our internet is slow right now here since theres like 500 kids on it right now... lmao i can usually download at 1000kb/s+ in the morning, but now its only at like 300-400

P.S: within the next month or so, we are probabbly going to be upgrading our package to charter's 10Mb/768Kb plan, or maybe even a fios conection by verizon...... we dont know for sure yet

hey everyone, just thought i would drop in and say hi..... the internet i currently have is 5Mb/512Kb cable by charter..... but i think pretty soon we are gonna be upgrading to their 10/1 package.... or maybe even a fios connection by verizon.... we dotn know yet tho i have a compaq presario AMD Athlon Xp computer..... it has a 3.0Ghz processor 1 GB or ram 160 Gig hard driver i also have a 256k nvida geforce fx something graphics card lol and thats it!
